Donor Privacy Policy

The Wiseburn Education Foundation (WEF) places a high priority on protecting donor privacy.  We have developed this privacy policy to ensure donor information will not be shared with any third party.

What personal information do we collect?

WEF collects the following information:

  • Contact information: name, address, phone number, email address;
  • Financial information: credit card numbers, expirations date, and billing information. WEF uses Memberplanet for online payment processing. Memberplanet is complaint with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). If credit card transactions are processed manually, forms are shredded immediately upon completion of transaction;
  • Personal information: employer and children’s school of attendance; 
  • Information about your relationship with WEF: donation history, event participation and volunteer history.


How is the information collected?

Information is collected when you make a charitable contribution, register for an event, or subscribe to our newsletter.

How is the information used?

Use of donor information will be limited to the internal purposes of WEF and only to further the Foundation’s activities and purposes. Example are the occasional send of materials or emails related to fundraising appeals, community event and news.

Who will have access to the information?

WEF does not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to other organizations. Charitable donations are recognized on our website. If anonymity is requested, the identity is kept confidential.
